One Account Per Household
Policy
For the best experience, we require no more than one (1) Reward XP account per household.
This policy exists to protect both you and our platform from issues that arise when multiple accounts operate from the same network.
Why This Policy Exists
How Advertisers Track Users
Offerwalls and survey routers track users by IP address, device ID, and other identifiers. When multiple accounts complete the same offers from the same IP address, advertisers see this as suspicious activity - even if the accounts belong to different family members.
What Happens with Multiple Accounts
- Credit conflicts: If one household member completes an offer, others attempting the same offer may not receive credit
- Chargebacks: Your XP may be reversed days or weeks later if the advertiser detects multiple completions from your IP
- Account flags: Both accounts may be flagged as duplicate accounts
- Partner blocks: Offerwalls may block your entire household from future offers
Common Scenarios
"My spouse/partner wants to earn too"
Unfortunately, having two accounts in the same household typically results in crediting issues for both users. One account will likely receive chargebacks or be blocked by partners.
"My roommate has an account"
The same restrictions apply. If you share a WiFi network, you share an IP address, which means advertisers see you as the same user.
"I'm visiting family and want to use their WiFi"
Occasional use from a different location is generally fine, but sustained activity from a household that already has an active account may trigger fraud detection.
"Can we use different devices?"
Different devices still share the same IP address when on the same network. Advertisers track IP addresses, not just devices.
Best Practices
- Designate one earner: Choose one person in your household to be the primary Reward XP user
- Don't share login information: Each account should have only one user
- Be aware of network sharing: Coffee shops, libraries, and other shared networks can also cause conflicts with other users
What Happens If Flagged
Accounts within the same household may be:
- Flagged as duplicate accounts
- Subject to increased chargeback rates
- Blocked from specific offerwalls
- In severe cases, disabled entirely
Our partners have similar policies to prevent fraud, and we must enforce these policies to maintain our partnerships.
